A 21 mile line proposed to run from Newtown, Wigtownshire to Girvan in Ayrshire. It was never built as such, but it’s proposed route later formed part of the Glasgow, Paisley, Kilmarnock and Ayr Railway (and later the Glasgow and South Western).
Capital £330,000 in 13,200 Shares of £25 each. Loans of £110,000.
