
Highland Railway Company
Incorporated on 29th June 1865.
An amalgamation of the Inverness and Aberdeen Junction, and the Inverness and Perth Junction Railways. The railway reached a distance of around 250 miles and connections were made with the Caledonian and the Great North of Scotland Railways. It later formed part of the London, Midland and Scottish network.
Capital £3,188,878 in stock and shares, and £1,523,085 debenture stock.
