Invergarry and Fort Augustus Railway Company
Incorporated on 14th August 1896.
A 24 mile line from Spean Bridge to Fort Augustus on Loch Ness’ southern end. It was worked by the Highland Railway and opened in 1903. Running powers passed to the North British Railway in 1907 and the line was closed 1911. It’s re-opening in 1913 saw the line taken over by the North British Railway, but it was closed completely by 1933.
