
Leven and East of Fife Railway Company
Incorporated on 22nd July 1861.
An amalgamation of the Leven and the East of Fife Railways. The lines were extended to Anstruther when the two companies joined together. It later passed to the North British Railway in 1877.
New capital for united company £17,000. Capital for extension £40,000 and loans £13,000. Also £14,000 raised in new shares to pay floating debt.
