A 19 mile line connected to the Portpatrick Railway in Newton Stewart. It opened between 1875 and 1877, and passed jointly to the Midland, the London and North Western, the Caledonian and the Glasgow and South Western Railways in 1885.
Capital £96,000 in £10 shares and loans of £32,000.
