Mold and Denbigh Junction Railway Company
Incorporated on 6th August 1861.
A 14 mile line connecting Mold and Denbigh and forming a connection to the Chester and Holyhead Railway in Mold. It opened in 1869, worked by the London and North Western Railway, also using sections of the Vale of Clwyd and the Wrexham, Mold and Connah’s Quay Railways.
Capital £125,000 in shares of £20 each, loans of £41,000. This was extended by £100,000 and 30,000 respectively in 1865, and borrowings of a further £140,000 in 1868.
