An 11 mile line between Chester and Wrexham, connecting with the Shrewsbury and Chester Railway. It opened in 1846 and amalgamated into the Shrewsbury and Chester Railway along with the Shrewsbury, Oswestry and Chester Junction line, all passing to the Great Western in 1854.
