Ross and Ledbury Railway Company
Incorporated on 28th July 1873. A 12 mile line connecting the towns, divided into 3 sections, of which only one was completed. It opened in 1885, and the remaining sections were replaced by the formation of the Newent Railway; both lines passing to the Great Western.
