Bachman Valley Rail Road Company
Chartered in Maryland and Pennsylvania in 1871, the 13 mile line running from Valley Junction, Pennsylvania to Ebbvale. The railroad was primarily built to transport iron ore to local blast furnaces but also carried some passengers. Became part of the Western Maryland Railway in 1917.
