State of Mississippi, 1831/33, 6% ‘Planters Bank’ Loan

Issued, $500,000 in 1831 and in 1833, $1,500,000 to supply capital to the newly formed Planters Bank.
In 1990, Phillips, sold, on behalf of the  Corporation of Foreign Bondholders, in liquidation, 41 of the 1831 issue and 454 of the 1833 bonds. Condition varied!
