Brooklyn Wharf and Warehouse Company
Incorporated in 1894 to consolidate many of the businesses along the Brooklyn waterfront to become the largest private warehousing system in the world. The company developed a rail system and ran 5 Baldwin locomotives. After a sudden decline in business in 1901 the company was acquired by the New York Dock Company.
