Emma Silver Mining Company Ltd
Registered 1871. One of the best known mining scandals involving U.S.Senator Stewart and Ambassador to England, Schenk, who offloaded this Utah property for a huge price to British investors. Baron Grant played a major part in its promotion to the British public. It was reconstructed no less than 5 times between 1872 and 1900 when the British investors finally got out. Dissolved <1916.
