Formed in 1912 by French interests to create a seaside resort with marina and hotels to rival Monte Carlo. Although roads were laid out and lots were sold the project was a failure and remains an uninhabited area of Buenos Ayres where no-one is allowed and is monitored by security guards! (2026).
